Shaft is round, oshkurenno painted 4-meter, with a diameter of 45-46mm. The shaft or stalk is intended for mounting on it a handhold-supporting tool, namely, hooks and stags, which when assembled are used when performing various kinds of work on "air" electrical telecommunication lines and on loading and unloading operations. The use of these tools is governed by the Rules for the maintenance of power lines and LES, and instructions for the implementation of rigging works. The shaft is made of varietal wood, subdivided by length, degree of processing and the presence of a protective coating. Fixation of the tool being mounted on the shaft is carried out by a tightening threaded rod or bolt and two fixing screws or nails.
